This session introduces participants to foundational information about Workday’s data structure and tools within the Workday ecosystem that can be used for reporting. We start with an introduction explaining the business object model to educate participants on data sources and data domains. From there we discuss how data is accessed in Workday and emphasize the difference between “doing” (performing tasks within the system) and “viewing” the data. The session culminates in a tour of the various tools Workday has to offer, from report writer, dashboards, discovery boards, and more.
